Students or graduates who want to specialize in paper and textile design can apply for an internship at VERBEEKDESIGNS. We are a certified learning company (by Savantis), which means we can offer you qualified teaching.
Duration: Internships can last from 6 months (minimum time offered as an exception) up to one year on a full time basis. Interns can return for additional internships subject to the approval of the Internship Coordinator.
Interns with an assignment of at least 6 months and sufficient study results will receive a certificate for Junior Designer.
Remuneration: We regret that VERBEEKDESIGNS cannot offer any remuneration for internships and cannot contribute to travel costs or living expenses. Interns are responsible for making their own travel arrangements to and from Eindhoven and for finding accommodation, although we will attempt to assist in this regard.
Visas: Interns coming from outside of the European Union may be required to obtain a visa for entry into The Netherlands to pursue the internship. The intern is responsible for obtaining the visa and for any costs involved in this process. Applicants for visas are usually required to demonstrate that they have sufficient funds to support themselves during their stay in The Netherlands.
Insurance: VERBEEKDESIGNS accepts no responsibility for costs arising from accidents and/or illness incurred during an internship. Interns must have their own health insurance. In case of illness or other circumstances which might prevent the completion of the internship, interns will promptly inform the Internship Coordinator.
Annual leave: Interns are entitled to the normal days leave for official holidays during the assignment. Depending on the length of the proposed internship, additional vacation days may be negotiated. All leave must be approved in advance by the Internship Coordinator.
